- The "Sgt. Tommy's Kid's Fourth Annual Kids Fishing Day" will be held at Herrick Lake in Wheaton from 10:00AM to 2:00PM. Herrick Lake is located on Butterfield (Rt. 56) about 2 miles west of Naperville, Rd. This is a FREE day of fishing and outdoor activity. Attending children will have the opportunity to learn about and practice fishing, participate in games and crafts, and enjoy a free lunch. Every child will receive a free fishing rod and reel. Registration is open to all children ages 3-15 with a family member currently or previously working in the military, police department or fire department. Attendees must sigh up in advance.
